Fiddle ‘N Pig Shindig- Anne Springs Close Greenway

Get some great BBQ and delicious Popcorn Heaven! For ten years, the Anne Springs Close Greenway has hosted an annual barbeque and bluegrass festival, inviting cook teams from across the region to compete for trophies and prize money while bringing together some of the best bluegrass acts in the Carolinas. This year, popular Raleigh-based stringband ensemble, Chatham County Line, will headline Friday night’s festivities providing their rich, resonant sound and original songs to the Fiddle ‘n Pig Shindig’s musical lineup.
Join us on Friday night for music beginning at 6:30p.m. with Flatland Express Bluegrass, followed by Chatham County Line at 7:30. Barbeque and additional food and beverages will be available for purchase. Saturday’s musical lineup will include Cottonwood Bluegrass beginning at 11:00a.m., followed by The Hinson Girls, Palmetto Blue and The King James 1611 Boys.
Tickets for Friday night are available online at $20 for non-members; $15 for members. Tickets purchased at the door on Friday are $20 per person. Ages 4 and under free.
Saturday admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5-12. Ages 4 and under free. People’s Choice tasting is an additional $5. Limited number of tasting tickets available.
